DJ Dick drops the needle on his vinyl collection of Vancouver punk and indie records. Guest DJs will also share their favourite local songs and stories against the backdrop of striking photographs taken by legendary rock shooter, Bev Davies. Davies' black and white photos, from the late '70s to mid '80s, are scanned from the negatives, printed on plastic and mounted on adapted metal shelving, evoking the D.I.Y. ethos.
Come hang out, have a look, have a listen. When the punk elevator opens its doors, are you gonna mosh it up or slam it down?
If you can't make it, log onto Ustream on March 18. LIVE video and audio feed, DJ Dick will be spinning records all night long.
